Little boy blue

Get ready for a crash course in May sessions. I had one solid week that was jam packed with one year olds. Boy one year olds. Most of which had blue eyes. Are they offering a pill now during pregnancy that can make your child's eyes blue, because I was never offered that pill? Blue eyes are everywhere & I love it!

My lone lady one year old in a sea of boys has no problem holding her own. These kids are adorable & hilarious & it must be said...it was so hot & humid the day of our session but Mom was committed to putting her little man in a sweater vest...and I love her for it!

A kid that makes my job easy...

I love, love, love shooting Alex. He cracks me up because as soon as I get my camera out he tracks me like a hawk, watching my every move. It would almost make me nervous if he wasn't so dang cute. Alex got to share the spotlight this session with Mom & Dad for some engagement photos. I had the pleasure of shooting their wedding this past Saturday & hope to have some pictures up soon. Congrats to a beautiful family!

Little ladies, dogs, & ice cream

I know a few things for certain:

1. Procrastinators do not make the best bloggers.

2. May did happen. Judging from my blog it's fair to question its existence, but I can say with conviction that it did come and go. There was rain and there was A LOT of wind, and between the two there were some beautiful days when I got to shoot some adorable children.
3. Anytime I shoot these three ladies I know I'm going to have a blast and they'll be sporting some uber cute attire. I just know these things. Here are some pictures of three little beauties and their show stealing bulldog, Mabel...

Destination Wedding: Cabo San Lucas

I think I have a new prerequisite for all wedding bookings...must be held in a tropical location. OK, maybe bookings would be few and far between, so I'll settle for a blended drink at the reception just to take me back. :) What brought me to Cabo San Lucas? My uncle's step-daughter was marrying one of my husband's best friends...pretty cool, right? So this wedding doubled as my husband and I's first vacation together sans the kiddos. It was a far cry from Disney World, let me tell you! The wedding was held at the fabulous Riu Sante Fe in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Gorgeous resort. Fantastic group of people. Mucho fun. The bride and groom didn't see each other prior to the ceremony (we teased them in the shot above) so she was held up like Rapunzel in her hotel room. Lucky for her, her hotel room overlooked the swim-up bar, so there was no shortage on entertainment.Lucky for the wedding party, the swim-up bar overlooked the ceremony spot.

Congratulations, Sam & Ashley! Looking forward to round 2 at your reception in a few weeks!
