Baby Mason

Here are some pics from my newborn session with adorable little Mason. I bet he slept like a rock when I left his house...he didn't quite trust me enough to shut his eyes for too long during our two hour session! Two weeks old and already so wise! I look forward to watching you grow, little man.

Engagements: Chris & Brandy

We shot Chris and Brandy's engagement session at Minnehaha Falls a few months ago (yes, I'm that behind!) when the falls were slightly more impressive than they are now with the drought. I had never been to the park before and can say with confidence that I will be back! It is beautiful! We took a walk off the beaten path (Brandy in heels, bless her heart) and had a great shoot.

At the old train depot...

Congrats, Chris and Brandy! I look forward to your wedding this fall!

meet Eva

This is little Eva whom I had the pleasure of meeting a couple of weeks ago, and by "little" I mean she's a peanut! She was a bit sleepy when I showed up but she quickly turned on the charm when I got out my camera! Here are some pics from my playdate with Eva...

There was so much to look at around Grandma's yard and Eva was content to just sit back and take it all in once we got outside. What really got Eva smiling was when the neighbor's puppy wandered into the yard...
bye-bye puppy...

Not much cuter than a girl in her tutu!

my stroll around town with Ben

Here are some pics from my session with Mr. Ben. This is my third session with Ben and our first trip outside. Yay!

Ben's mom wanted to find a patch of grass to take pictures in since all of Ben's previous sessions have been indoors. He didn't mind that one bit!

Here's GQ baby Ben in his little three-piece suit...

See you soon, Ben!

happy engagement

I'm a little behind on my blog so let me get you caught up. A few weeks ago I had an engagement session with Dan and Lisa. They live out of state and were in town for a whirlwind wedding planning weekend. I think I was the second stop on their list that day. We walked around the park, did a little kissin', a little laughin', and took some pics! I should clarify that I was involved in the picture taking and not the kissing. Here are some pics from our session...

I yelled "car!" when a vehicle was approaching to cross the bridge that we were shooting on. When the car passed, Lisa yelled "game on!" I knew right then we'd work very well together!

Looking forward to seeing you again next month at your wedding!
